I leverage my extensive experience in design management both domestically and internationally, overseeing quality control and project management of design output from branding to self-initiated projects. I also engage in network building with designers and creatives from both domestic and international fields.

The evolution and future of design

Design evolves alongside changes in society, technology, and the times. The future of design should be flexible enough to embrace the changes in the world, while also carefully inheriting the rich cultural aspects which have brought happiness to people around the world. I want to pass this on to future generations.

Immersing myself in things I like

I have decided to immerse myself without hesitation in anything that attracts me, no matter when or where.

BACKGROUND

After graduating from Keio University’s Faculty of Environment and Information Studies, I worked in design management/PR firms, advertising agencies, and design manufacturers before becoming a freelancer in 2011. Since then, I have been involved in design management, production, PR, and design education both domestically and internationally.

Currently, I serve as Founding Associate at Brody Associates led by graphic designer Neville Brody and also as Regional Manager of Japan/Singapore for the international design award organization D&AD.
